Match carrier MFR to target resin and end-use. Confirm compatibility using MALION resin matrix before any pilot blend.

• Keep delta MFR within 20% of target polymer.
• Use heat-stable carriers for outdoor grades.
• Document supplier, lot, and COA in batch record.

All color concentrates must meet dispersion grade A and gloss delta under spec on 50 micron plaques.

• Run drawdown every new pigment lot.
• Record delta E and haze in color lab log.
• Reject any batch with streaking under D65 light.

Letdown ratios are validated per application and never adjusted on the line without a signed deviation.

• Default range 2-5% unless customer spec overrides.
• Maintain gravimetric feeder variance within 1.5%.
• Re-qualify ratios after pigment or carrier change.
